Stay tuned, good buddy, and keep yer ears on. I have a new contest coming very soon.
There was this great little mini golf course in Carbon Cliff. The owner would give me and my childhood friend, Mike Mallory, two games for a quarter. Later in life (1976-1982) I lived just to the right of that building in the comic. A lot of the cement footpaths are still there. The “John Deere Open” that M.J. mentioned is really the John Deere Classic. A world class golf tournament that has been going on for years. Starting out as the Ed McMahon Open, then the Hardees Classic and now Deere. And the John Deere Classic is held where? Yep, right at Carbon Cliff. :)
Making a lot of items (shirts, buttons, bags, etc) in my Zazzle store with this logo. It just fits Stanlehy to a tee…. t shirt. hahaha
Created a new shirt in the Life On 66 Zazzle store. Don’t ask me why I did, ask Stanley. hehehe

Where did June go? Summer was always the period of the year where, as a kid (grade school through high school), I would draw the most. Buying comic books and getting “how to draw” books from the library. Then spending ALL night at my drawing board under the basement stairs that my dad made for me listening to the radio and coping styles of Kirby, Don Martin, Severin and many others. Now that I am retired and Life On 66 has become the best diversion I could ever have I am finding that the old summer feelings have returned. And I am loving every second of it. :)
